Some notes to be reminded to all Bikers, important integrations to the race’s regulation
REGISTRATION
In order to speed up registrations, Captains/Team Managers are required to check-in at the desk Segreteria (Manie) with the documents of the whole team.
It’s mandatory to present 1 original and 1 copy of the following documents, for each team member:

Those who have a FCI, UISP, CSI etc. sport association cards, the card itself;

Medical certificate plus a copy of it*;
-
Waiver, already signed and filled (reminder: there’s an additional privacy waiver, which also has to be filled and signed);

Passport/Identity Card original or copy;

“Matrix Riders” (Competitive):
Varigotti, on the promenade close to the pier (Piazza Gina Logorico). After a short run on the beach, riders will pick up the bikes, and through Isasco road ride up to the Manie, where they will join the 24h track.
At the same time "Solo" and "Free Riders" (non competitive) teams will get their start at Le Manie.
During the Briefing to Captains, Saturday 21 May, 10.00 a.m., it will be explained how to reach from Manie the exact departure location. A map will be provided with the START point marked.
GENERAL RULES
It’s strictly forbidden:

to ride racing/road bicycles, or cyclo-cross for the entire length of the added track, from Piazza Gina Logorio to the common start point of the 24h one;

to have slick or partially-slick wheels (less than 1.4 inch or 700x35). Consistency with these parameters will be checked few minutes before departure by the commissioner in charge.
In case of no compliance with the above listed rules, penalty measures will be adopted.
Due to the spread of the present information, no claims will be taken into consideration. This info may be repeated during the briefing to the captains.
Average speed must be kept under control during the plain part of the added track, as the free race will start only at the beginning of the uphill Varigotti-Isasco-Manie, where slopes can reach 18%.
YOUR BEHAVIOUR
The environmental impact of the 24h of Finale 2010 is huge, therefore every single action need to be environment and nature friendly
Therefore:
- It is forbidden to light fires in the area of the event (only barbecues are allowed);
- It is recommended to reduce the number of cars/vehicles for every team;
- Each team has to be provided with an extinguisher (there are cheap models available on the market, for few euros)
Drivers are allowed to park only in specific places on the grass, if they dispose of a piece of nylon to cover the grass. Once they reach Manie, it’s advisable to contact the Staff and ask for available places.

Visit: 45 euros (instead of 55 euros)
Visit plus ergometer: 85 euros (instead of 95 euros)
Additional service: heart echography (optional for the race), 80 euros (instead of 95)
